The False Principles of Ali Hasan al-Halabi

Starting with Hasan al-Banna's claimed golden principle, "Let us excuse each other in that which we disagree and cooperate in that which we agree", a series of deviants emerged towards the end of the 20th century that tried to bring this principle and what is similar to it or branches off from it to an unsuspecting Salafi audience in the eastern and western lands. From them, Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaliq with his notions of multiplicity and plurality of groups being good for the da'wah, he included the Ikhwan, Tabligh and Tahrir as amongst such groups. With his jam'iyyhah and its wealth, he traversed the east and west and tore apart the Salafis in every place. Then came Salman al-Awdah, from the Qutbiyyah of Saudi Arabia, who tried to distinguish between al-Firqah al-Najiyah and al-Ta'ifah al-Mansurah with a view to accommodate the Innovators and included them within the saved sect. These days he sits with Shi'ites and Sufis. A similar approach was taken by Adnan Ar'oor who spoke of false innovated principles towards the same end, in order make excuses for the likes of Sayyid Qutb and prevent criticism of him and his books. Then came Abu al-Hasan al-Ma'ribi with the biggest revolution against the Salafi manhaj and its adherents with numerous false innovated principles aimed at defending the jamaa'aat and silencing Ahl al-Sunnah, and he took with him a fair share in the East and West who succumbed and fell for his falsehood.

Warning: Al-Ma'ribi and al-Halabi have followers in the West who defend them and their principles [and they also defend those whom al-Ma'ribi and al-Halabi defend] yet deceive the people into thinking they are with the Major Scholars and upon their manhaj. Caution is to be taken with such people as they practically employ the innovated principles of the likes of al-Ma'ribi and al-Halabi in order to sustain and justify their positions.
